My dream that became reality

At the time, I was in a very unhealthy relationship. I struggled with constant fear, sickness, and issues with dependency. My body was in pain 24 hours a day and I felt like this for over a year and a half. I had to make a change in my life. It was during these troubled times that one of my friends offered me the Tocara opportunity, in January.

When I first saw that little roll, filled with those magnificent pieces of jewelry, I knew this was my saving grace. I was so excited that I told everyone about it, and for the first time in my life, people were asking if they could do the same thing I was doing! Wow!

I eventually became the first Tocara Silver Director. I couldn’t really understand my success at the time, or what I had done to deserve such an honor. Randall, my first fan, along with Deb and Mike, told me that I did not have to understand anything, but to keep doing what I was doing! You can imagine that with this amazing team, I finally knew without a doubt that I had found my place at last.

In the month of May, I left the relationship I was in. Funny little anecdote: the brand new house I moved into was completely empty, except for 3 salamanders painted on the bathroom wall. Wow, another sign I had found my rightful place!

For those who think that it’s always easy, it’s not. But it is a wonderful challenge.

First Test: defective jewelry, unhappy clients, consultants quitting; not always fun and games.

Second test: Holiday Orders that were lost, even stolen! To top it all off, the computer system crashing!

That period was hard, I was losing everything but faith in the company. I remember Randall and Deb telling me “We’re taking care of it! Give us five years”. Believing in the company was my greatest challenge, but also my greatest gift.

Today, I am living my dreams, meeting interesting people, having fun, helping others and traveling. The way I was able to attain my goals was to start believing in myself; and it’s what I wish for all of you. Anything is possi-ble with Tocara, you just have to believe it.
